Questions about villager trading

Hi, I just traded villager for the very first time today, and I'm not sure what i'm supposed to do next. The plot is sold and the new villager will be moving in but I had to time skip for the first time to move someone out. If i time skip one more day, will she be there or do i have to wait til that villager leaves the original island? And is it also safe to time skip back to present?

If your empty plot already says it's been sold to a villager, next day they'll be on your island unpacking (in boxes) and the day after they'll be on your island doing regular villager stuff.

When I TT my villagers in, I TT forward until they completely move in and are outside doing whatever, to check that they've moved properly. Then I set my date and time back to the regular time and everything's ok!
