Before I even begin, please do not turn this into another non-time travel vs time travel debate thread.

Right, I have a few questions to those who frequently time travel on this game.
I'm someone who has never time travelled outside of a few niche moments in the past so I have very little knowledge of how time travel actually works and as I mentioned in a previous thread, I'm in the process of redesign my island and I'll need to relocate everything to my beaches again. And, to be honest, I don't have the patience to wait almost two weeks before I can even start terraforming this time around. So I've made the choice that this time around, I am going to break out of my comfort zone and time travel to speed up the relocation process.
So, the questions:
1. If I were to time travel back 15 or so days and forward myself one full day, would it count as a day passing in-game despite me having logged play time on that day already?
2. Do I have to worry about my villagers randomly moving out on their own if I take the time to speak to them once a day before I progress another day? I'm aware they have prompts this time around, but I wish to make sure about this.
Granted if Quillson decided to vanish suddenly, I wouldn't complain.
