Please bear with me as these may be quite a few questions but I haven't been able to find concrete answers to most.I know that a lot of people on this thread are cyclers so I thought they'd be able to shed more light on this -

1. Provided that I don't trade my amiibo villagers, is it still safe to bring them into my town while booting someone else?

2. Can glitches occur with villagers that move in naturally (for example, let's say my starter Jock wants to move out. Someone adopts him - can that person still experience a glitch? Can I also experience a glitch during the trade?)

3. Can I experience a glitch from a natural villager as well (meaning one that was not brought in via amiibo)?

4. Can the glitch affect other villagers - so for example, let's say that I adopt Zucker. He moves in but then the next day I find out that Sherb moved out and I wasn't even aware of it?

5. How frequent are the glitches? I still see lots of villager trades taking place and people don't seem to care much. Though people seem to report glitches, it's not very clear how frequent they are and why they happen in the first place.

6. Is it better to hold off all villager trades for the time being? I'd love to trade Wolfgang but I'm just really scared. I'd hate to mess up someone's town or have a glitch myself.

I think a few of your answers could be found in this thread but some of the details are still unconfirmed. It should be find to bring amiibo villagers into your own town and boot someone else but I would recommend holding off on villager trades with other players until a new patch releases. I'm in the same boat; I'd love to trade Nan to one of my friends who has been looking for her but I don't want to risk it and lose Nan in the process.
