Questions about inviting and kicking out villagers

Sorry everyone, I have a few questions that I hope I can get the answers to...
I would really appreciate the answer. ^-^

1. How long do I have between a villager in boxes to island hop with NMTs and search for another before the game randomly assigns one?

2. If I have a villager in boxes, when should I go to adopt a new villager from a friend's island?

3. How does villagers leaving a friend's island influence the empty plots on my island? Does this apply to only best friends, or anyone on your Nintendo friend list?

Sorry I can only answer the third question. If you visit your friends island when their villager is moving out, there may be a chance when their moving/voided villager is going to move in if you have an empty spot. Hope this helps

1. Minimum of one day. Based from my experience if it's a new plot, you only have a day for you to island hopped before it's sold to a random move in. But if it's an open plot from moved out villager, it's still vacant for two days. It seems to vary from person to person so I highly suggest to invite someone as soon as possible.

2. You have to wait for the plot to be empty before you could island hopped or adopt someone. Otherwise, you’ll be arrived on a mystery island without a villager spawning or the one you're inviting saying your island is full.
