Questions about Cycling

I'm planning to buy another copy of ACNL, mostly to Cycle, but I have a few questions.

1. Can my cycling town be a digital copy?
2. Can I use my regular FC or do I need another 3DS?

Your cycling town can be a digital copy if your current town is on a physical copy. You can't have two digital dl'ed towns on one DS.

You can use the same FC if you have a digital and physical copy. Or several physical ones.
