Questions about backwards time traveling.

I time traveled ahead a few days to speed up the process of some PWPs and I have an in progress PWP.
I'd like to travel back So I can regulate my town schedule but I'm curious as to what backwards time traveling will affect.
Will it affect any of my PWPs, my in progress PWP, Sables QR machine, villagers, flowers or anything?

Going backwards, no matter how far, basically counts as travelling one day forwards. Certain events in the same year can't be completed again and villagers may call you a time traveller, but that's about it.

Villagers constantly call Azrielle a time traveler, despite the fact that she wakes up on Nov 3rd alot. It's because I keep going backward to that date.

I haven't had any of my villagers move out because I TT backwards. I believe they won't. It does affect villagers who you said to move out thou. How, I'm not entirely sure. One of my villagers, er, let's say Muffy, wanted to move out the 20th. But, I never made it to the 20th because I kept going backwards. Eventually she did move out thou, still not on the 20th.

If you skip a large amount it counts as one day forward, but it will retain the town’s “data” from the last day you played. Eg. If you water your flowers, then time travel backwards, no new flowers will pop up. If you plant a sapling and go backwards, the sapling will still be in the “planted” stage and will not have grown. No new fossils will appear, etc. I use this method a lot for updating my dream town. I’ll remember a good date/weather condition and keep playing. Then I’ll work on fixing my town up, rearrange flowers, digging up fossils and pitfalls, etc. Then I’ll simply jump back to the day and time I want to update my dream and run to the dreamsuit to update it right away. I do this quickly because I don’t want my villagers to plant flowers when I’m not looking.

But I think PWPs get built if paid off.. can’t confirm because I haven’t built one and gone backwards in a while. Whether you’re time traveling forward or backwards, just make sure you have beautiful town ordinance on and you stop any villagers from moving out and you should be good to go.
