The administration frowns upon bumping old topics, unless you're bumping it with good reason and are adding something. If you want to discuss something, you're best off starting a new topic than bumping an old one.

We usually don't care if you're adding something to a topic that is still relevant and not out dated.
e.g. so if the post was called 'What are the villagers in your town' and it was a year oldI am such a noob
