My husband and I almost never visit eachother's towns, yet any time I get a new villager, it's old ones from his town, and vice versa for him from mine.

Is there any way around this? I don't want his rejects D:< lol

They're in your void pool. To empty it, you have to visit a town with 10 villagers. (i think)
