I have a question for TBT;

What is your ideal game?

My answer:
My ideal game can be any genre, sports, FPS, RPG, Adventure, Simulation, whatever. It doesn't have to have great graphics. It doesn't matter if its mature or not. What I want in my ideal game are two things;
  • Re-playability
  • Multi-player
With those two things, I would not only be playing my ideal game hour after hour, I'll be able to share it and enjoy it with my friends.

Think about it, the first video game ever was Pong! A multi-player game. When Donkey Kong first hit arcades kids would run to the arcade trying desperately, quarter after quater, to get their name on the high score. Those games brought a simple challenge that anyone could understand and enjoy. Basically, anyone can be good at it after a couple times playing. Games with the best replay value give experienced and new gamers equal chances of winning. Unlike Madden, which is fun, takes prior football knowledge and the learning of what each and every button and play does.

Multi-player is also important to me because, as mentioned before with Pong, games are meant to be player together. If they weren't, we wouldn't be here right now sharing our gaming experiences and such.

My ideal game is something I can give my children to play with, in how many years that will be.

My ideal game is usually Adventure, Simulation, Action, and that's about it, although it depends if others have a bit of one in it. I want it to not be like Pony Adventures, but something that interests me.

I really like good graphics, and camera angles that are easy to move around. Blocky games with sharp corners and such don't work well. It also must have good sound, music, etc.

Lol, I didn't write as much.

My perfect game? An RPG with an engrossing gameplay and a story that is emotional... one that sucks me in... a story that is well-written, and may make me cry. That's why I love Fire Emblem. So well-written... almost tough to believe such greatness is possible. The stories in all the FE games are epic, so that's why they're my favorites.

Anyway, there's something that FE is lacking... more crying. Yeah, I know, I sound like a sissy when I say this, but I want a game to make me cry... which is why I'm infinitely excited for Cry On for the Xbox 360, which comes from the mastermind of Final Fantasy, Blue Dragon, and ASH (!!!).

An Adventure/RPG that has a lot of action but also some strategy and puzzle-solving. One with an intricate storyline that has a lot of plot twists, almost like a story, and ends with a climactic boss-battle/high-speed chase/egg-salad sandwhich. Also it can't be so complicated that it takes me a month just to figure out the controls.

My ideal game would have to be an adventure game with action at evry turn. Also, it would have a good multiplayer mode and wifi.

My perfect game is an Adventure RPG that you can create things (such as weapons, as you kinda did in Dark Cloud), with lots of puzzles, but yet there is action every turn. I'd want it to have a good amount of replay value or otherwise just be really long (such BioShock or something among that.) Also having something that Metroid and Zelda both have, which are a lot of collectibles or things you need to do, and there's no specific order for some of the things you do.

So basic overview, I'd want an Adventure RPG, with creative elements, puzzles and a lot of game time.
