Here is a question:

I have a villager in my Main town in boxes. DEPRESSING. It was sudden. I didn't expect it.
Luckily, I have a SECOND town.

BOTH towns have 10 villagers.

If I put a villager in my SECOND town in boxes, can a swap in the same day?

As in, I go to My Main Town as my Second Town's character, talk to the villager in boxes, ask them to move in (meanwhile there is a villager in boxes in the Second Town). Then go to my Second Town as my Main Town's character, talk to the villager in boxes, ask them to move in.... would that work?

LET ME KNOW! This is kind of time-sensitive....

I don't think so because of you think about it you are asking the villager (who ever you go to first) to move into a 10 villager town, then doing vice verse when you go to the other town, I could be wrong though. you could move out a villager you don't like in your second town though if you have one!

Nope, you need to have 9 or less villagers to ask someone to move in, even if you have someone in boxes!

Here's best solution to this situation if you don't wanna lose either and have no 3rd person to help.

Void one. Preferably NOT in the town you don't want to TT in.

Then, have the other move into the non-TT village.

One will have 10, the other 9. Keep both towns visiting each other. In the 2nd town, the one that didn't void, TT forward until the voided villager's plot appears. This should be a method to do this transfer - as no random move-ins will happen while you'er doing this in the 9-villager town (and you're not visiting anyone else, streetpassing people, etc.)

Voiding villagers still has inconsistencies, as I've read, so this could work. Otherwise, were it to fail (back and forth vsiiting and TT'ing months w/o results), as a back-up the villager might be in either town's void and able to be passed onto someone else who has 9 villagers.

It's a theory. Do post results if you try this and works, btw.

MAJOR PROBLEM: I realized the villager in question was already in Ferelden less than 16 villager cycles ago. I am SCREWED.
The villager is Whitney. :( Time to auction I suppose?

Till what, I cycle? :( I don't trust anyone enough (who has room, that is) She is OUT of Ivy Wood for good. I am thinking of moving Eugene out of Ferelden to take her place, so I have an open spot for Mira to move in (someone has her for me) and then maybe down the line I will cycle, cycle, cycle until I can get Whitney again for Ferelden. That's really my only option.

What would "holding" do exactly? Do I pay them to take care of my villager? Wouldn't there be a risk of some modifications? Or a risk of them moving suddenly like she did with me? When would I get her back? Mind you it would take a LONG time to get her back..... Hmmmmm........

Aaaaaaaaand no one is bidding. My SB is WAY too high. I know it is. She is too valuable to me. I messaged a few people who have her as a dreamie and I am willing to give her away for free to them if they respond now..... but NO ONE IS RESPONDING. ARGHHHH!!!!!
I just want her to go to a good home.... :(

absolutely or Bulbamander

Aw :') How sweet of you patrice!

Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to hold Whitney because Whitney is actually a dreamie of my fianc?.

On that note, are you still selling Whitney? How much do you want for her?

I posted this thread March 3rd. ^^
Whitney was adopted by Drew1234 and now lives in Joy Lake.
I can visit her anytime.
Thank you guys though! This was an old thread, I should have closed it, I suppose!

OH - hah! I didn't even notice! I just saw Patrice's comment on my activity feed. xD
