Question regarding clovers...

I found TONS of 4 leaf clovers in Wild World and the more I found, the more I found. So I had a lot of luck. I know 4 leaf clovers were more common in Wild World. I've had New Leaf since 2013 and haven't found a single one! But my question is, do they still bring luck if you obtain them in New Leaf like they did in Wild World? And will they show up more frequently once you begin collecting them? I've read mixed things about this.

Speaking of clovers, I just found my first 4 leaf clover today in real life (that took 22 years). I accidentally dropped it and found a 5 leaf clover!

Not sure about the good luck but it would help with Feng Shui in your house.
My main town players all found one. A villagers can put them up for sale at retail.
Mom can also send them in a letter.

I have a town that I grow weeds for my players to pull. Usually TT a few weeks ahead and pull all the clover/dig up gyroids. I usually find 4 after a year of TTing for weeds.

It doesn't help increasing your luck, but it does help in feng shui if placed in your house

I think maybe it increases by a little bit, but seems more useful to use Katrina's items and have fortune told? D; congratulations on your first clover! All this time xD

Yeah, I think it only helps in the feng shui of the room. Not something like Katrina's items.

I've managed to find about 4 clovers in my town, and my town's about 1 month old.

Another question: can you breed them? does fertilizers help?

No you can't breed them. That would be nice for players that want a lot for town decorations.

I guess my town is just unlucky then because I can't find any at all. I've used Feng Sui for a while and I still have lots of lucky items in my house. I have a Lovely Phone, so I can find out the lucky Katrina item every day for free and I use it almost every day. None of which is helping me find a single clover It's been 3 years

You are not unlucky, it is just other people are luckier......I still have not found a single clover yet either

Do you have a lot of flowers and paths? That may help you if you remove them temporarily

I never really had paths. I've held multiple flower giveaways to get rid of my flowers, but they just grow back like weeds when villagers plant them again >. <

Do you have the Beautiful town ordinance? This prevents weed growth, and clover growth.

It also makes the villagers plant more flowers.

I have paths of clovers.... that I bought, if having them made more appear I def would've known by now!
