Question on TT and moving villagers?

So, a villager is moving, and a friend convinced him to move into their town. If I TT and my friend doesn't, will that affect anything? Will the villager still arrive to their town?

the villigar will still move out, but it really doesnt affect anything your friend will just have to wait for them to move in

The villager will still go to their town. I did the same thing earlier today.
