Question for path users: Do you use water pieces too?

I always feel like my town is a little fancier with water patterns, so I love using them!
Though I got tired of the one I found online and I made my own...
I like the ones with little bridges since I line the water like moats around certain areas. Pretty sure mine takes up 8 spaces too.

I'm too lazy to make a pattern mule, so no. I do like the look of them, though, so perhaps I'll get some one of these days. I only have two ponds, so I could use more water around town.

I don't as of right now, but it's something I'm open to trying in the future! I was thinking of trying to make my own water canal patterns one day, with a fairy-tale style border (to match my town's fairy-tale architecture).

Water patterns with lots of border pieces do probably take up many slots, but I'm all for using as many patterns for landscaping purposes as possible! Once I have all my dream neighbors, I'll set up four characters in my town and use all 40 of their pattern slots for landscaping purposes, probably (well, maybe a few slots for interior decorating purposes).

Question for path users: Do you use water pieces too?

Does it take away a lot of space?

Yes! Water paths are some of my favs!

Ii have 2 mules full of patterns, and my main character is also full...

It does take up quite a bit of space but its up to you...

i usually don't wear or use qr designs unless theyre paths.

no,,, i only use tile paths because i dont like the fact that im putting fake water down when there are ponds and all, its just weird to me,,

It used to bug me that you can walk over it and all, but it looks so nice it doesn't bother me anymore. I use them to create fake little moats around houses and structures, and since people usually don't walk right up to the side of buildings anyway, it doesn't really ruin the illusion. c:

Despite they look good aestethically, the fact that you can walk on them kinda ruins water paths for me.

Personally, I'd use bushes instead.
