Question Before I Demolish my Home

i play on a shared game so i can demolish my home cuz i'm not mayor and since my house is kinda too close to the river for me to make the "perfect home" (i want with bushes all around it and i lose an entire section due to river -__-), i've decided that i have enough money and that i'm picky enough to destroy my home and literally move it over by one space to the left just to get it down right.

anyway, i really only have two questions:

1) If I drop all my things on the ground, they won't all disappear on me once I delete the file, will they?

2) I have donated a lot to the museum (most of it actually), will my name still say i donated or will i have to redonate the stuff?


kinda lame questions, but they're kinda important ones to me lol. can't make a new char to test either since the game i'm sharing is already at the 4 save file max and i don't wanna leave anything to chance.

I know the first~ Anything own by our character will destroy and gone with you deleting~ But I not sure about the second one...hmm good point...I should check my museum lols...><

1. anything dropped on the ground will be saved... if the items stay in your pockets/drawers/home they will be deleted.

2. not sure about this one but im guessing... it might still be there but donated by 'unknown' (ACWW EXPERIENCE, NOT ACNL >.<)

i've heard from ppl the same that snowyuki said but i've heard otherwise too. i really hope that's true tho cuz making like another character pick up everything would seriously take a long time esp since i got a number of unorderable items i wanna keep zzzzz

and i'm fine if an unknown donated the stuff cuz i was almost done with my art collection. just don't wanna donate all those stuff again lol

Yeah as long as a house isn't plopped on top of your items then they should be safe.

If the items you dropped in someone else's town stays there, why won't this case? The game doesn't remember the original owner of the items if they are left on the ground. Free-for-all.

Nothing will be deleted :3 I know this from experience. Not even my alt characters patterns deleted (thank god.. lol).

lol seems like it's pretty much alright for me to keep my items on the ground.
