question abt villager favors

if you give a villager a fish or a bug to fulfill their request do they always put it in their house? i always decline those bc i wanna keep their furniture the way it is but idk

I don't know if they always do that, but they definitely do it sometimes.

Don't they still change their furniture regularly? At least that how I remember it back in Wild World.
