Question about weeds

Apologies if this has been answered around here before. I am still confused and have some questions regarding weeds:

Does pulling wilted flowers and clovers (not the lucky ones, the ones you pull out like actual weeds) count when trying to pull weeds for the Weed Hunter badge? Some have said yes and no to this :/

Also, does going to dream towns and pulling weeds there also count towards how many weeds you pull for the badge? Again I have heard both yes and no to this.

I really wanna know, I am determined to get all 3 weeding badges this year as I've never ever had any of them :c

No, Pulling Weeds in Dream town does NOT count.

Wilted flowers & clovers do not count. Weeds in dreams do not count. Only real weeds in real towns count towards the badges. I wish all the other stuff did count, I'd get my badges a whole lot quicker...

only weeds (not clovers etc) in real towns (meaning your town or a town you're visiting via wifi, not a dream town) count.

Ok thanks for clarifying everyone. In my second town I have weeds everywhere but they are mostly clovers :c something tells me this is gonna take forever to get the badges, esp the gold one

If you want you can ask a cycle town (if they prefer to have weeds than flower) to weed
In my cycle town I always leave weeds nit clovers
But there a fee to pay it
