Question about villagers

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone knows the answer to this.

If I have a villager live on my island and they move away, can I invite them to live on my island again in the future? I have fauna at the moment and she's in one of the 3 starter homes that aren't very nicely decorated. If she left would I be able to get her back (not necessarily the same fauna who left but a fauna villager).

I remember in NL you had to have so many villager move in before you could re-invite them and I was wondering if this is the same of NH?

There's no villager cycle in NH like in NL. You can immediately invite the "same" villager back. It can either be the exact same villager (if they moved to another person's island), or you may find them on a Mystery Tour Island, or you can use an Amiibo, etc.

Just wanted to specifiy, I meant if you reinvite the villager that moved away, not any other instance of it (not even amiibo)
