Okay, so a long time ago (End of August) When I restarted my town, I told a villager not to leave when they asked to leave, are they still able to move or?

I know this is sort of off-topic but sometimes in the future if they ask you to leave and you want them to, and you agree they may still choose to stay so it gets kind of annoying. -.-

villagers will still ping you to leave even after they pinged you once to move out.
