Question about villagers moving in

Dizzy is in my campsite today. I was selling beetles to him, and after a ton of rounds I accidentally asked him to move in, and he said yes right away. x___x

He's really cute, I do like him, but I don't know if I'm getting a dreamie tonight or not. Since he's still in the campsite with no plot or house or anything close, could I adopt my dreamie from another town still, and they'll agree to move in, and Dizzy won't move in at all? Or am I stuck with this cute but unwelcome elephant in my town for a while?

If you go to someone's town today (while Dizzy is still in the campsite) and ask a villager in boxes to move in, it will cancel out Dizzy's move in request. At least this is what has happened to me in past experiences.

If you haven't saved since he agreed, quit without saving and cancel it out.
