Question about Villagers house Interiors

So I've seen some pictures online of how some villager houses are supposed to look like from the inside, for example Sprinkle, Deidre, Filbert, Lucy and Teddy.
And I found the following screenshots of those:

However in my town they all have the same sort of wooden interior instead of the interiors above.
Only some of my villagers have the same interior as the screenshots I found.
Is there any reason why this is? I have a 5 star town, 10 villagers, the only thing I don't have yet is an upgraded version of Nook's Cranny which should be due any day a now.

Thanks in advance!

Your 5 starters villagers (the ones who you started with and the ones you did DIY furniture for them) have those crappy wodden houses. It's unfortunate :/

Yikes, that kinda sucks.
What If I remove my first 5 villagers one by one and scan them back in with an Amiibo Card (since I have the Amiibo cards of my 5 first villagers)?
Will they get their appropiate house interiors then or will the game still hold on to the *DIY Furniture* layout for the first 5 houses.

They will have the right interior! Sadly, they wont remember you, though.

That actually almost makes me cry =/ I actually feel like having build up a real friendship with them and them calling me their besty and nicknames. This really make me sad.

Yeah :/ That's more important to me than having their real interior. But if you can send them to someone's island and then get them back, they will remember you and have the right interior.

Does it make a difference if they have their "right interior" instead of the DIY one? As in will they be more happy?
For example Teddy is my jock starter, and he is really hard to please but he gave me both my nicknames and even though I give him all the items / colour scheme items he is supposed to like as a jock, he still doesn't seem really happy?
So it comes down to "Is it only a cosmetic change" or will they really be "happier" living on my Island with their own house with the right interior?
And yes I do care about their bond we created, same as I did with my villagers in New Leaf.

The house's interior has no impact on their friendship level. Jocks and Cranky villagers just don't seem outwardly happy, by nature of their personalities. If you really want the intended interior, you can have them move to a trusted friend's house and then have them move back. They'll get the real interior.

Ofc! Sorry I sounded like I was accusing you of something, I just meant that I cant give them to someone to give me back, so I will just have to not care about the interior.

I kinda figured that, but Its a bit of a gray area since the friendship level isn't really visible.
Sure I send them letters each day, talk to them enough and give them presents and they all like me and do games with me.
Only in the beginning of the game I had some villagers having an arguement, but that's long past and my playtime is way over 300 hours now. And sometimes someone wants to leave but yeah thats how It's probably programmed, but I can always convince them to stay without any problems.

So if I understand correctly, If I *send/give* a friend of mine one of my first 5 villagers, will they still have the same friendship level with me if they return? Or will they only acknowledge me as a person?

(btw. where do you get the images from your dreamies from in your signature, I would love to do that as well?)

Thanks in advance.

No worries, I was crying about the villagers  So don't worry.

Dunno if this will make you feel any different but most of my starters are dreamies and they live in the basic houses too but I kind of like it that way because it’s the only thing that reminds me of the fact that they started with me and that I didn’t get them off amiibo or trades. We no longer have a town tree in NH that shows the history of the town so this is all we have right now that lets visitors know about our starters. So even if it’s not their intended interiors and some clash with their personalities and exteriors, I dunno. I kinda like it for nostalgia.

this is kind of beautiful and i love that. that's also why i'm keeping genji/filbert/skye in their DIY houses. i also want to try to give them furniture that i think they would like (:

Yeah, I gave Stitches toys and a toy box so he’d have at least a bit of his personality in that generic dusty lazy house interior. I also tend to just make up for it by giving them a larger yard with so much more stuff they could enjoy.

I totally agree with the both of you aswell. I'm not going to replace all of them, that's just to painful. Thanks for your feedback.
