Question About Turnips

Hi guys. As many of you know, turnips will rot if you time travel, but I have a question about this. What if you buy turnips on one character, and time travel on the alt character. Do the turnips still rot, because if not, then I could put turnips on the ground, get my 2nd character, time travel, get the turnips, sell them for highest price, put the money on the ground, and have the main character pick the bells up. Will this work, or will the turnips rot even if i time travel with a different account?

Thats actually a good question...idk i do know if They rot and u put them on the ground u can catch flys and ants.

They'll rot, yes. If any character time travels, the effects happen to any other existing characters - bed hair, bingo cards expiring, etc.

If you time travel to next Sunday they will go bad. If you go back one minute the turnips go bad.

Some players wait for high price turnips at retail and than check if anyone has their town set on Sunday. You can buy/sell on the same day. No risk.

There's 2 different prices everyday. How am I supposed to check both if I'm at school.

When you time travel on a character - its the town that travels in time, not just the character, so yes turnips will rot if the town time travels - as stitchmaker says - either forward to the next Sunday or any TT backwards over your last save.

You can buy turnips in your own town and sell them in another town that is set on another date - either backwards or forwards from your town - doesn't matter how long it is.
