Is there a limit on how many trees or bushes you can plant in your town? because i remember reading something about how having too many trees can affect perfect town status or something?

also, I was planting a lot of fruit trees in one area of town, but the next day, about 2 of them didn't grow? they weren't planted next to other trees/buildings..

someone know anything about this?

in a certain sense yes, there is a limited number of trees/bushes that you can plant in one acre.

If you have too many trees (over 200, I believe), it will start to count against your town's status.

Also, if you plant a tree where it is completely surrounded by other trees/saplings, it will die. It's possible to circumvent this rule by planting trees in a certain order. Let's say you want to grow trees in a 3x3 formation like this:

If you plant them all in one day, the tree in the middle will die. However, if you plant the first two rows one day, and then plant the third row after the other two have grown a bit, you'll be able to grow trees in that pattern without the middle ones dying. I've done this in my town, so I'd definitely say it works.

I'm not really experienced with growing bushes, so I'm not entirely sure what rules they have.

oh.... I didn't know there were these things in the game mechanics... thanks for the info!!
