Question about town donations

When does Pelly let you know when you've donated enough for a bridge? I'm almost positive i've donated 200000 bells, but she hasn't said anything yet. thanks

She tells you the next day. The bridge will be built until a week later.

i think you have to wait untill the bridge its built cause im getting my bridge built and it wont let me donate XD

yeah you have to wait till the bridge is built before you can donate again.

i thougt since it is 500000 for the fountain, i just had to pay 300000 more. Sadly i had to pay 500000 more.... I GOT MY FOUNTAIN TODAY! sadly.... serena wont give me a different axe! i get the same old axe everytime! or she takes it.... she has about 15 axes right now.... O_O T_T >_< :O
