Question about time travelling

Hey guys, I have been playing acnh for the past few months but have never time travelled. However, right now I am playing pokemon, which requires TT, as well as acnh. Knowing the fact that TT can cause weeds to grow and turnips to rot. Does it matter if I TT in other games but rewind the time back when I open acnh again? Will these things happen as well?

So technically if I tt forward as long as I reset the time back to normal when opening acnh I should be fine?

I admit that this may be a little off topic, but how does pokemon require time travel? I've never heard that one before.

Sorry but my words were probably misleading. It is just that when you play competitive and want to get a hidden ability from a specific pokemon, you have to farm them from raid den, which requires time travel unless you wanna spend millions of watts on wishing pieces and hundreds of hours clearing each pokemon that shows up that is not the one that you want. So it is not like you have to, but pretty much everyone does it.

That makes more sense! I just thought people did it from the wishing stars. I can see how it would be faster to skip ahead to the next day to just farm them. Thanks for explaining!
