Hi guys, I don't usually time travel but I time traveled today 5 days forward so that I could get one of my villagers in boxes. Then I traveled one day forward to get their house out and ask a new villager to move to my town...

My question is.. how do I safely time forward back to the original date? Currently my town's date is 12/13/2014 and I would like it to be back to its current date. :) Should I wait for the new villager's house to be plotted down before I time travel back? Or am I safe to time travel back right now? Or should I wait for her to fully move in?

I would also like to add that I might plot reset her house before she officially moves in. :)

If you already invited her in.

You can TT 1 day forward to plot reset.
Save.

Then TT back to current day. The new villager will have her house up and be unboxing. You will be safe.

TTing back counts only as 1 day, no matter how much you TT.

Thank you! :D

Are you going to plot reset?

Time travelling back any amount of time counts as a day forward. If you're going to plot reset, you can time travel to the next day and plot reset, and then time travel back. If you used your 3DS calendar instead of the in-game one, I'm pretty sure you can set it back and use a new character to plot reset.

If you don't care about plot resetting, it's safe to time travel back. If that villager was set to move one day later, the villager will be there once you do.
