If you time travel with characterA, and then log out and log in with characterB (without changing the time that characterA did), will the villagers accuse characterB for being a time traveler? Will they forget about character B? Or will characterA be the only one effected?

*I'm trying to get characterB to talk to Sable 10 days in a row so I can unlock the sewing machine, but I don't want the villagers to forget about characterB. I don't care if characterA is forgotten.

When you say that, do you mean B logs in on the same date/time as A logged out? Good question about whether villagers will call B a TTer, but no they won't forget B, not in a measly 10 days... I'd be more concerned about villagers moving out by accident during the TTing, if you care about them.

Also if you're just TTing forward in order to talk to Sable, your villagers aren't ever really going to notice you did any TTing (because for them time is still flowing in the right direction and that's all that matters). And if you want to avoid TTing backwards entirely, on the 10th day you can just stall and keep playing on that same date until real time catches up.

Lastly villagers won't call you a time-traveller unless you really. TT. A lot. If you're still spending your time doing a lot of other things (helping villagers, shopping, gardening), your villagers will have better things to call you.
