Question about time capsules

I have 2 old time capsules in my letter pouch that have been for several weeks now cos i forgot to bury them when the villager who asked me to gave them to me (i know, bad Mayor). Neither of them have mentioned them since, so i just wanna know what i'm supposed to do with them now? There doesn't seem to be any option to throw them away like you can with old letters, and it's beginning to get on my nerves now as they're taking up valuable space in my letter pouch. Help!!

Buried them. Still works I think.

Or open it and talk to them, they will get annoyed and take it back xD

i opened it once, but you can't bury it after you open it. so try to burry it and then if that doesn't work either toss it or go see if you can talk to the villager about it

Bury them. If the x marks disappear the next day, you're all good.
