Seven, Seven--
I have two quick-ish questions.
First, regarding a villager moving. I'm currently sharing a cartridge with a friend whose character is the mayor. I played the day first today, and Kevin whispered a rumor about Rizzo moving, which was something I'd been waiting for. So when Rizzo pinged me to tell me he was leaving, I said bye, he said bye, and I handed the game over to my friend with intent to time travel after he picked up his flowers to avoid them wilting.
Then, while my friend was on with the mayor, Rizzo pinged him, too, and went through the same thing. Luckily, he didn't decide to stay or anything, but he recycled the dialogue. So my question is this:
In a town with multiple players, does a villager need to check with everyone before they'll officially move? Or is it simply that they have to ask the mayor's permission, and not just a player's? Answered. Thanks, everyone!
Secondly, a slightly more complicated situation. I'll do my best to explain it well.
There are three towns. One is Wishfall, in which nine villagers reside after a much hated little piggy named Chops finally moved out. One is Starail, a pretty little forest full of 10 villagers, mostly deer. And one is Paragon, a newly founded little town with nine villagers and too many cranky mice.
Starail opens its gates and characters from Wishfall and Paragon enter to trade around some items. I know at this point, Chops is in Wishfall's void, but as Starail already has 10 villagers, there's no risk of getting Chops in Starail. But here's where I get confused.
I was under the impression that if someone visits a town that has 10 villagers, their void gets cleared, and they're free to run about without dropping off any undesirables. A few days later, however, after time traveling a bit to move in Drago, the mayor of Wishfall drops by Paragon to deliver some hybrids.
Two days later, Chops appears in Paragon, uninvited.
How did this happen? Why did Chops not disappear when Wishfall's mayor visited Starail? How the heck do you clear a void? ;A; Where did I go wroooong?!
