Question about the void

So today I had the privilege of adopting Molly from a very kind person here at TBT. She also offered me Octavian.

Unfortunately, after I invited Octavian, we realized that this meant that Octavian had overwritten Molly T_T So sad! I felt really terrible about it.

So my question now is, does this mean Molly is in my void and that I'll have to complete the 16 villager cycle before I can have her again? She never technically moved into my town after all....

Does anyone know? Thanks!

From what I've heard, you don't need to do the 16 villager cycle for a villager that got overwritten and thus never showed up in your town. I think you're good. But hopefully others can confirm this.

This is exactly what happened with my sprinkle and ruby , I invited sprinkle first then ruby but I never realy understood the mechanics so lesson learned.

Ok so once I have a new villager (Octavian) plotted on the map, but not yet moved in, can I safely invite another villager to move in? Or do I need to wait until Octavian is out of boxes?

You just have to TT ahead a day until his plot appears. Then it's safe to invite the next animal in
