Question about sending mail to other characters

Im deleting my second character soon and I want to transfer her items to my mayor, if I send her the stuff and delete my second will the mail be cancelled and lost?

Can't help you with the mail question, but most items can be transferred by simply filling your pockets, taking it all outside and dropping it on the ground. Mayor can then just pick it up. Losers weepers rule.

This is what I did. It's faster.

I dont think it would delete the mail but I wouldnt risk it, just in case.

Yea this is exactly what I do when transferring furniture & junk between my mayor and second character. Definitely beats dealing with letters.

dropping everything outside is way easier, but I'd try it anyway with something like a seashell just for experiment's sake

If you were to send your things in letters, you should consider waiting until your mayor actually recieves the letters before deleting your second character. I believe that the letters wouldn't be deleted once you sent them out, but you shouldn't risk it until the letters are safely delivered.
