Question about receiving a villager and 10th villager?

Right now I have 9 villagers. Bob is moving out and someone offered a dreamie for him. But I was wondering.
If that dreamie moves in will the villager that is replacing bob still move in? Making that 10?
Because I want to move in someone from the campsite...and I don't want to have 10.
Or will the dreamie be bobs replacement and no one else will move in? So I can get my 10th from the campsite.

I'm a bit confused.

If you already have someone moving in from the campsite (to make 10 including Bob) then you'll have to give this person Bob first, and have him moved out entirely (as in his house is no longer there) before accepting your dreamie. Hope this helps
