Question about pricing items to sell

So I have stuff like Gullivers items (such as pagoda, veil, etc.) or like “rarer” items I guess and I was thinking about selling them to people in the future who want them BUT I have no idea how much I should price each item. I want to make bells off of them but I don’t want put the price rediculously high (there have been some greedy people I’ve seen for example ive been seeing people sell fruits for like 100k for 10 fruits which is crazy) I’m horrible with coming up with prices and I don’t want to seem overly greedy.

I either:

- look around, use the search function...to see what the average price people are selling/buying them in a recent time period
- tell people to offer, if I feel good about their offer then that's all that matters...if I don't then we don't trade and it's whatever

Yeah, I'd recommend searching for those items here on the forum and/or reddit to see going prices. I do see, for example, Pagoda going for 1-2m and given the way that they come into the game, such prices are pretty fair to me. Ultimately people are welcome to pass on your offer if they feel it's unfair. You'll learn pretty quick by not getting any interest in it if either your item is not desirable or your price is too exorbitant to be worth purchasing it. Or it could just be an unlucky time of day where no one happens to be looking for that item. I've totally listed things, gotten 0 interest, then a few hours later gotten tons of replies.
