Question about premade tiles paths

When I make a premade path (tiles) (from nook miles) am I able to drop or place items on it? And do balloon items fall on it or vanish?

You can place items on it. Balloon items land on the tile and don't vanish.

Yes! Items can be placed and dropped on them :> you can do the same for custom tiles, just be careful when pressing the y button to not accidentally erase it off the ground while picking stuff up

My glow spot was on a tile this morning. I was able to dig the bells up and fill the hole without losing the tile.
