I have Black 2 and have captured Regirock and Registeel, but I don't have the Iceburg Key so I can't get Regice and subsequently Regigigas. I don't have a second DS/3DS or White2 either so I'm sorta outta luck on trading it to myself (Buying them is a little expensive right now). Can I get the key from WFC or key trading restricted to Local Wireless?
Barring anything else I figure I could borrow a Regice and at least catch Regigigas then give Regice back. Never had any takers on that latter option though.

I THINK you can get it from WFC, get it fast though. May 30th is when it ends for DS and Wii.

I would lend you one, but I think that DS games only allow you to use WEP. My internet connection is different.

Did you have to create a separate connection for the DS connections, or did it use the same connection as the 3DS? Or maybe you have an internet type that works with the DS.

I had to create a connection in my 3DS settings under "DS Connection" but after setting that up it works just fine with my internet. It connects to the same router that my 3DS uses for normal 3DS online functions. I've never used an original DS.

Whats the security type? The DS cannot use the more advanced security type. I'll double check to see if it can use other security settings than WEP.

My security type is WPA2-PSK. I don't know about an original DS but the 3DS' DS Connection handles this type just fine. I did a lot of online trading on the Neoseeker forums this way so I know it works with mine at least.

Since the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo 3DS are compatible with WPA security, can I play Nintendo DS games online using WPA?
Nintendo DS Game Cards are only compatible with WEP security, and are not compatible with WPA security. So while you can enjoy other online features of the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo 3DS with WPA security, you cannot play Nintendo DS games online with any system if your network is secured with WPA.

Weird... I says this on the Nintendo Customer service page. And NWC doesn't work for my DS games.

Just throwing this out there.. but if you own an AR for DS you could just hack yourself the keys. That's what I had to do to get them all in Black2.
