ok so i had plot reset hadn't gotten anyone good on one of my tries no plot was set and there was someone good in the campsite so they're moving in but will the other villager move in still or will this villager moving in cancel it out?
I?m not entirely sure what you mean but I assume you saved in the state where no one moved in but the villager you like was at the campsite right? If not you need to start the game with a new character, check if no one is moving in and the save with the new character to be sure that no one moves in before you can invite the villager in the campsite. If you didn?t save then the game will decide if someone moved in when you load and you could get a new plot, so always save with the new character to be sure no one moved into your town!
Assuming that you saved already with a new character and know no one plotted today but you want to invite the villager from the campsite:
There shouldn?t be any problem with that. The whole reason why plot resetting even works is because the game doesn?t decide if someone moves in and who moves in untill you load. So according to that logic, if you invite a villager the game will save that and there will be no reason for a random calculation the next day. So it should be fine, don?t worry^^
