question about plot resetting??

I've never actually tried plot resetting before, but just for future reference, I want to clear something up that I'm unsure about.

I know you log in as a new player and walk around until you see the plot, and if you don't like it, you quit without saving and come back and it will be in a different spot. What I'm not clear on is if it will be the same villager. I'm assuming it would be if it's a villager you adopted from another town or got from the campsite, but what if they're a random move-in? Will it be the same villager each time you plot reset, or will it change to a different random each time?

it'll be the same! once a certain villager has set its plot for a house in your town it won't change

ok so, if you have not adopted a villager from someone elses town or gotten one from your tent it will be a random villager unless someone from another town hasen't cleared their void.

now if none of the above has happened it will be a random if one of the above has happened it will be whichever villager that was each time.

also: if its a random villager it will always be a personality type you don't have unless its the 9th villager.

No that is incorrect, in fact if u have not moved a villager in from another town then every time you plot reset a new villager will appear, it will not be the same every time, I have plot resettled on multiple occasions and this is NOT the case, do not think that it is otherwise you may end up losing a potential dreamy.
