Question about plot resetting?

It's 3/13 in my town and I'm currently plot resetting for Celia and was wondering how long I can keep doing this. I've heard people that plot reset for hours, weeks, etc.

My question is, can I still plot reset and determine where Celia will move in, even if it's AFTER the day she's moving in/placing her plot?
If that doesn't make sense, let me try it this way... It's currently 8.27AM on 3/13 in my town and I start each time with a new character. Can it be 3/14, 3/15, 3/16, etc. in my town and plot resetting still work, so long as I start with a new character?

Yes, you can still plot reset after 3/13. As long as you don't go on your Mayor you can still keep plot resetting.

I think that's the way people got villagers to be all clustered together, which to me I don't like, because the whole point of this move in mechanic was totally random, and I like to pretend the villager was out scouring the town, looked at the different areas, and decided on the one they chose. Sorry to all those who have patterns on the ground that get destroyed, but that's the risk you run if you don't plot reset.

I'm not sure, but you could always TT with the DS clock so it stays on the same day, albeit this may not be necessary.
