question about patterns

if I were to create a new character solely for the use of QR codes, would the patterns I put down be erased if I erased the character??

I believe they would be removed, yes.

Yes, all patterns they put on the ground will vanish. If want to plot reset someone, you can create a third character (assuming you have 2) to lay the patterns, and after the plot is set and saved, delete the third character and your town will be back to its previous state
I believe that designs created by you and displayed at able sister's remain even if the character is deleted, though? Not sure.

i know if you display designs at able sisters they stay, but i wasn't sure about the patterns. thank you though! guess i have to make a serious character so they wont make my town look bad.
