I have 2 towns and I have played EVERY single day since the launch.
I no longer have the time required to play on a daily basis.

My calendar will not free up until Janurary.

Both towns have the beautiful ordinance and lots of hybrids.

If I stop playing after telling a villager they can not move -- Will I have all my villagers when I return?

Also, If I water all my flowers before leaving for a break will I have a lot more hybrids when I return?

make a note of the day you stop playing. When you come back, TT back to that day. It will be as if you never left

I'm pretty sure that if you tell someone not to move and immediately stop playing afterwards, no one should leave.

I do it when I TT to regrow grass. I wait for someone to ask to leave, say no, save and quit, TT a month, and everyone is still in my town when I load up my game.

Also, since you have the beautiful town ordinance, you don't need to water your flowers. They won't ever wither.

It's true that you don't need to water but you won't get any more hybrids if you don't.

I have no idea about villager loss. I haven't missed any time on NL yet. I do know what no matter how long I went without playing on the older games I never lost more than one villager though. It doesn't sound like you've got much choice though -- I would just make things as safe as you can and see what happens!

If you time travel back to the last day you played, they will be there. If you don't you will lose one, maybe two villagers. Plus if you TT back you can do the activities you miss like Christmas and rolling snow people. I've skipped a week and gone back to make it up in one session by just doing the basics each day and moving on to the next.

Exactly, do this otherwise you'll definitely loose one villager or more.

Yes, this should work. The only time the game should care about TT:ing multiple days is when a villager is in a move-out phase.

However, I would just write down the last day I play and continue off from there, as I nowadays do when playing AC.
