Question about moving

I've gotten a friends villager to move to my town, and i'm hoping to plot reset to get them in a good area. The question is how many days will it be or for me to TT for them to move it. What day/how many days will it take? Thanks!

They usually move in 1-2 days after you ask them to move to your town

Mine usually move in the day after I invite them to live in my town
