Ok so i've read a bit about a method of getting villagers to move out, and i've read some mixed responses so I'd just like to confirm the method to make sure it works

Basically from what I read they had a villager move in, and they only talked to them on their move in day, and a week later that same villager moved out Is this move out method true? If it isnt true is there any good way of getting villagers to move out fast and efficiently (possibly w/o time travel, I am willing to go a couple days into the future probably nothing more)

Thanks in advance!

I've done that method. Still took them forever to leave.

Since you don't want to TT, I suggest becoming their best friend. Friends are much more likely to move out. Be a huge kiss-up to them; give them fruit they request right next to them, always sell them the thing they want from you, buy stuff off of them, give them compliments, send letters and gifts, ect...

People here also have mixed scenarios for them. The methid I said above works for me, but maybe not for someone else. I just recommend that one since it doesn't really require time travel.

It seems to be very unreliable because honestly I've used both and both are kinda flawed, I have ignored people and they leave within the next week and it's great but I've also ignored people and they just are stubborn *******s and won't leave so I can't build the last bridge that would make moving around my town quicker PORTIA. but yea it's kind of a mix up, HOWEVER I do find the ignore method works better

I'll second this.
Actually it's random as a system. But from personal experience I feel like still it has the "odds" - proportion, like, certain villagers that are seen so-called popular in general (Marshal, Fauna, etc.) and those villagers who you have high friendship level get more odds to likely start saying they're gonna move out.
