Question about gifts from villagers

If a villager has a Gracie Item that they remove from their home, is it possible for them to give it to the player, like other items they get rid of?

I used to have Robin living in my town, and she has a bunch of furniture from the Gracie's Series. From my experience, she would never let go of any of that furniture and would only remove the other non-Gracie items in her house. Maybe it's been different for someone else but for me it hasn't been possible!

My only experience with villagers owning Gracie items is that I was able to buy a Gracie tank from a villager's home upon visiting. I would assume this would mean it is also possible for it to be gifted to the player.
