Question about flower decorating

Hi everyone!

What flowers do you guys like most and least? And what combinations do you like to use in your town? I've noticed that more and more people prefer one flower over another and don't want to have specific ones in their town. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that at all! (I actually like that)

My favorite flowers are the white roses and the red and white lilies. I like the yellow pansies least. But this is a personal preferance, so please don't feel offended! I do feel the yellow pansies can look nice in combination with others or in the right spot.

I've been thinking about having a theme in flowers in my town and so far I haven't really come up with anything. Right now I just have sections of different flowers that I think go nicely together.

What are your thoughts?

I really love violets and lilies. In fact, those are the only flowers I have in my town right now xD. But I do plan to use tulips and roses in some parts of town, I just need to get the right PWPs first.

I dislike the orange cosmos. They're really ugly. Everything else is okay with me.

Yeah, it's difficult to make the pansies look good, but it's possible. Around Pecan's house I have white pansies and white roses, with a purple rose instead of white on each side of her door on the front. I have the same but with red pansies and roses around Grizzly's house, with black roses by the door. I like to match the flowers around villager's houses, and use similar colors together. Red and pink roses together looks really cute. Though most of all I prefer having different flowers of the same colors (white lilies, tulips and roses go together wonderfully to make it look less perfectly matched) than have the same type of flower but with different colors.

I like all of the flowers, I don't dislike any of them. I think some look ugly on their own but look nice combined with others.

We can't really tell you how to arrange your flowers, it's your choice. If there's flower types you don't like and aren't breeding for hybrids, you can get rid of them by selling them or giving them to someone else (or just destroy them but why do that when you can get bells or help out another player).

You could then begin to arrange them, decide how many flowers you want and if you have a palette or theme going on in your town. If you do, you can decide which ones you'd like to keep or just base it on which ones you think are ugly. You can make flower beds, line the paths with them, even make small gardens for your villagers or plant them on the beach.

I really like pastel-y flower arrangements and it's what I'm trying to do in my town. Basically I use all white flowers, combined with purple and pink hybrids. The white pansies and violets are blueish, which adds a nice touch.

I am not a fan of yellow flowers, to be honest.

I like all the flowers, especially roses, tulips and lillies. I like lining my paths with flowers of the same type arranged in a rainbow-order, I think it looks really nice. I also put flowers of 2 colours (that match the roof) around my villager houses.

My faves are hybrids of roses and pansies. I think they look really lovely.. That's why my whole town is full of them

I absolutely love red and white roses around my male villagers houses and pink and white around the female villagers houses, I think they're both lovely combinations.

I only like roses, violets, tulips, and pansies in the game. Lilies and cosmos are the worst to work with, I think.

I personally dislike the pansies except the blue, purple and white ones... I like tulips and roses the best.
