Question about farming/traveling backwards

It used to be that as long as you don’t cross over Sunday and reset the week, the days remain the same in terms of what’s sold at Nook and who visits that day. Example: If Flick visits Tuesday and Celeste Wednesday, but you go back to Tuesday, it’ll still be Flick.

But now, if I go back (with the same example), it’s suddenly a different visitor (like Sahara). When did this system or whatever change?? Same deal with the Nook store.

Also, I only TTed a few hours on the same day (from daytime to night), and I got 2 message bottles. This has happened many times. Was it always like this too? I thought it was 1 a day..

The npcs are set on Mondays. Turnips go bad if you go past Sunday

I noticed this as well while TTing to move items and such. The items in the Nook store are changing even when you purchase things which never happens before but I havent had the effort to actually figure out what the deal is and what you actually do to reset it

Since I haven't seen it answered: You actually get 5 diy's per day, 3 from crafting villagers(morning, noon, night) and two from bottles!(One morning one night) If you have an alt account they get their very own bottles as well
