Question about dream adress change...?

I was updating my dream town just now. And for my surprise, my dream address got changed for the
second time this week! I didn't receive any payment and Luna told me I had 0 visitors...
This is really annoying, since I don't get to see how many visitors I got before the dream address was changed. Some people say it has sth to do with how long you haven't updated your dream town, but since I just updated it a few days ago, I don't think that this might be the reason. I'm so confused ;w;
Does anyone know anything about this?

I don't have the Dream Suite yet but many people report their dream addresses changing without any warning. I don't have any information about it, sorry.

I haven't updated mine for a month and it changed when I updated it a couple days ago.
So I thought it was because of the length of time but maybe not. o.o

It does suck a bit though because now I only have 2 dream visits. ;_;

I've seen a mention that it could be due to server updates where some people get affected
and others do not...but not sure if that's true.

I don't update my dream address for long periods of time (like once a month) and my dream address has never been changed again. I think if you have people actively visiting your dream town then I don't think it changed but if you don't update and no one visits then I think it eventually changed 0.0

Hm, not sure. I took a month before updating it but I know I had multiple people dream of my town in that time. o.o;

I don't think so :/ because I updated my dream town just a few days ago and got some feedback from others who visited my town in that period of time. I updated it today and it got changed...

Well I just figured out why mine changed. I recently swapped my cartridges to different DS's.
I put my main town on my XL and my second town on my old normal DS.
Supposedly one of the reasons your dream address can change is if you update in a different DS from the original. So I'm sure that's why mine did.

I dont think that it has to do with how much time its been since your last update. I went 5 months without updating my town and the Dream Address is still the same. I also know for a fact that not a lot of people visited me because last I checked I only had 176 visits

Yes, they still show up but you can't update them so after awhile they'll be erased from the servers.

If you update with a secondary character, your address changes. If you switch cartridges, your address changes. If you don't update, your address changes. These are all the reasons that I've gathered so far... but it does seem to be random at times.

Yep, someone posted pictures of it. Supposedly all the villagers react and recognize you so it's kinda cool.
I still wish I had my old dream visit count though lol.

Yup, it does work!
I tried it out yesterday and visited my 3 month old dream town. It was a really nice experience, since I could see how much my town has improved and talk to my old villagers that had moved away.
They all recognized me ;w;
