Question about Chester and amiibo cards

My parents recently ordered me the Hans, Chester, Ken, and Rory amiibo cards for Easter. However since then I have gotten Chester as a move in. Catch. He has a DIY house. Anyone know what his actual house looks like in this game? I am considering moving him out just to use the card to move him back in, this time wth a regular house instead of a DIY house.

I would really appriciate some answers.

I have no idea what his house looks like and I can't find it online. Hopefully someone can show you. I can say that when Meringue (with a starter house) asked to move out I let her because I have her amiibo and I'm planning on moving her back in with her 'real' house.

i started a thread here for this exact reason! there's no pics of acnh house interior's online yet. no one's posted chester's house yet but i hope someone does soon! <3

Same here. I am only getting rid of him because I am getting his card, and would much preffer him with his actual furniture, which I will get with him from the amiibo. Plus I have heard when you adopt a villager they automaticly have his regular set of furniture.

So sure. That way we can BOTH have Chester with his real furniture instead of the DIY stuff.

Same here. I am only getting rid of him because I am getting his card, and would much preffer him with his actual furniture, which I will get with him from the amiibo. Plus I have heard when you adopt a villager they automaticly have his regular set of furniture.

I just reset because I had a MUCH better idea for an island. However, my cards have arrived at my parents place and I am just waiting for them to bring me them. I should be able to get Chester to move in and then move him out so you can pick him up . Then I will just scan his card and get him again for myself as well.

So it might take a BIT longer than planned, since I don't plan to kick villagers out via amiibo due to current glitches, but I will let you know as soon as he is ready to move.

I can definitely wait, thank you so much for doing this! Also good luck with your new town idea! There's parts of my town I don't like and want to reset, but I think I'm already too invested and attached now lol.
