Question about campsite villagers moving in

Hello folx!
I am in a muddle and confused about what to do.
So yesterday, I went island hopping, and adopted Flora. So today she is unpacking.
The problem is, I have a campsite villager, Candi, who I would like to adopt, of course meaning that whomever she chooses would also be in boxes.

Would it cause a glitch of some kind if I was to ask her to move in? I thought I'd ask the helpful peeps of The Bell Tree as I would love to have Candi but not at the possibility of getting a glitch! Many thanks

It shouldn't be problem. I havent had the same issue but similar experience this week. I invited Agnes from the campsite and Naomi then asked to move out which I said yes to. It ended up Agnes moving in the same day as Naomi was packing up. Not sure if this will be helpful though in your situation

I might give it a go, just I've heard if two are in boxes at the same time, one glitches and remains in boxes, and I'm too nervous to actually invite Candi until I know for sure it would be okay..
Mind you, why would the game give you a campsite villager if it could glitch inviting them in?
Ahh I'm torn!

We had island hopping and campsite villager on a same day several weeks ago when we had 1 open slot: we went to island hopping to find Octavian (inivited him) and the same day Cherry was at the campsite, so we inivited her to stay and she replaced another villager. They moved in different days.

In your situation, only thing I can think of will be the campsite villager chooses to replace Flora (not sure unpacking villager will get selected though), but you can always exist without saving to give it another try.

I think in this case, it's better to be safe than sorry. It's just a shame Candi wasn't in my campsite tomorrow! :'(
