question about campsite villager please help!!

so i got my dream villager in the campsite now, and i've set down a plot for him, but i lost in the game does that mean there's no way to make him move to my island anymore? i keep talking to him but the option for him to move in doesnt appear anymore im so sad about this lol

You just have to keep trying. I know it seems like they won’t/keep saying no but it’s really just keep talking to them! Good luck!!

I have found that I have to go out of the tent and back in to trigger another game.

another tip for the future: if you have a campsite visitor you really want, and you want them to replace a certain villager, play the game until they want to move. after they tell you who it is they want to replace (and if it's someone that you want to stay) don't finish the conversation and close the game! really, DON'T FINISH THE CONVERSATION! once you do they will settle for replacing that specific villager, but if you don't finish the conversation and close the game you can try again, and they will pick someone else c:

I didn't move them in but the option was there.
