Question about campsite method.

On my cycling island I used the campsite method to get Bones for my main island. I had no lazy on the cycling island, so I was getting mostly lazies, but some others as well.

During that time, I got Dotty, who I passed up so I could keep searching for Bones. Now if I wanted to use the campsite method to get Dotty, how long until I could potentially get her? Would I have to go through all the peppies? Or all villagers before she could show up again?

I'm no expert but if I remember correctly you'd have to go through all peppies again

I am pretty sure the campsite is on a cycle. So chances are you will have to go through all peppy villagers in the campsite before she will show up again.

I’m also interested to know this as I’ve already had Rudy but I let him move out and now I want his stupid face back again and I might try the campsite method for him but I’m not sure if I have to go through all the jocks first before he shows up again.

From what I remember, any villager that has lived in your island or already been in the campsite (natural or amiibo) won't appear until you go though aaaall the rest of the same personality. And then they will be in random, which I think included repeats too.
