Question about campers and adoption

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place or if it's already been answered, but I don't have much time to find out this information...

Is it possible to go to someone's town and adopt from them after you've asked a camper to move into your town? In other words, I asked Pekoe to move in the other day (had 8 villagers at the time) and I've been plot-resetting for her, but I could probably go back a day and save without her moving in yet. Can I adopt someone else's villager on that day? What'll happen?

If you do that then Pekoe will be replaced by the villager you invite. You'll have to move her in first.

You can't make campers from other towns to move in your town. My friend tried it for Vesta but she tried it for 30 mins but still no luck.

I meant I invited Pekoe from my own town. An adoption opportunity came up, so I was wondering if it was possible to get both to move in. But it appears that's not possible, sadly :c

oh oops!! read it wrong. well to your question I think so. I'm not sure because I think when you have like 8 villagers and you adopt 2-3 one of of the 2-3 moves in your town but the others gets bumped then the random 10th villager moves in

Until the last person you invited moves in, you can't invite anyone else... or the first one you invited will just "disappear" as if you never invited them.
Just as Reindeer.
Even if you do have 2 spots open.

Since you talk about "going back a day" I guess you are ok with TTing?
Why not just TT to get the plot to show up to plot reset her then you will be able to have her plotted so you can go adopt the other villager you want?
It normally takes 2-3 days after you invite a camper to move to your town to actually plot in your town.

Yeah, I've been plot resetting (possibly up to a hundred times now, ugh) but she refuses to move into a good spot. I get the feeling it's just not going to happen so maybe I'll try to pick up some other villager if possible...
